The Nine is the cognomen for the one-man web studio of Jeremy Tredway. The name is derived from the Muses of Greek and Roman mythology—the nine daughters of Zeus and Mnemosyne, who preside over the arts and sciences.[?] Hubris? I hope not. I simply believe that one's aim should always be to provide an excellence of service.
In 1999, when the Nine was formed, there were three of us—myself, Jeff Cutler, and Steve Tamminga. It served primarily as a part-time outlet for our combined artistic and programming skills. In 2001, after the trio pursued full-time positions elsewhere, the Nine evolved into what it is today.
Currently, I am a husband of a wonderful wife, the father of a precious girl, and a full-time web developer for Decision Counsel. Consequently, I don't accept many new projects.
